   I was a couple months out from having our first child. We were living in California. My sister called me from New Jersey and told me a plane crashed into the tower. I hung up and rolled back over. It breaks my heart that I was so out of it in a blanket of sleep and fog. It wasn't quite 6:00 AM yet. She called me to tell me about the second attack. I was awake.
